 EXPERT CARE FOR ORCHIDS

Keep the orchid in a place that receives natural, filtered light throughout the day.  Orchids enjoy warmer temperatures and humid environments.  Avoid direct sunlight and chilly temperatures.  Water the orchid once a month, using a spray bottle, aim below the leaves, at the base of the plant, and spray 3-5 pumps only.  Orchids from our shop are potted in sealed containers, with no draining; please be careful not to overwater.  At the end of the bloom cycle, bring back the container and purchase a fresh orchid variety of your choice and we will repot it for you.

EXPERT CARE FOR SANSEVIERIA/SNAKE PLANT

Sansevieria are hearty, indoor plants that prefer bright, filtered light, but may be maintained in low-light environments as well.  Use caution in households with small children or animals because Sansevieria is toxic when ingested.   Water Sansevieria once a month, pouring 3-4 ounces of water along the base of the plant.  Plants from our shop are in sealed containers, with no draining; please be careful not to overwater.

EXPERT CARE FOR SUCCULENTS

Place the succulent in a place where it will receive bright, filtered light throughout the day.  Water every 2 weeks with a spray bottle.  Gently lift the succulent to expose the roots and spray 3-5 pumps.  Succulents retain water within their leaves, so they do not need a lot of water.  It is important to let them dry out between watering to prevent rotting.

EXPERT CARE FOR PEACE LILIES/SPATHIPHYLLUM WALLISILI

These are one of the most common house plants because peace lilies are pretty easy to grow. Place the lily where it will receive indirect sunlight. They prefer a north or west facing window. They don’t mind a leaf misting from time to time, like humidity s placing atop a tray of stone or pebbles can be good. They prefer temperatures in the 65 to 85 range. Water regularly and keep the soil moist but careful not to overwater.

EXPERT CARE FOR PONY TAIL PALMS

Pony Tail Palms are great long-lived, indoor plants.  Their growth is slow and can remain in the same container for several years.  Pony Tail Palms can tolerate a wide spectrum of temperature, and enjoy a good balance of bright to filtered light throughout the year.  Their hearty trunk acts as a water reservoir, therefore do not require much attention or water.  Water the Pony Tail Palm once a month.  Pour 1-2 ounces of water at the base of the trunk.
